I downloaded a 3d maker program. As is typical of me, I skipped the tutorial and by trial and error made something fairly quickly. I want to make a header for the blog. The thing I made is totally three dimensional and animated. I thought, "Wow, this is pretty easy. I can put this on blogger for now and keep playing with it until I improve and keep changing/developing the header. Well, designing the thing is the easy part. Saving it to blogger is not. Nor is doing google searches on converting .x3d files to appropriate files to save for blogger. Or saving the files to the web and then converting. Or trying to upload it to YouTube. Or sitting through ten minutes of tutorial that had nothing to do with what I want to know. Finally got somewhere by sifting through a forum for the program I bought. I learned how to convert the file to a .gif file, but that isn't what needs to be done. I will eventually figure things out. The pic above is it, but it looks better in animation.

Overheard from a nearby table at a restaurant:

"So, after he did all that and she broke up with him,
she changed his first and last name on the caller ID
on her cell phone to 'Don't Answer'. So everytime he called...." (gales of laughter from their table and supressed giggling from ours)

I'm High Maintenance

"You scored in the median-high range. This shows that you tend to be more high maintenance than low maintenance. You know what you like, and that's that. Some things are just not worth compromising. Your standards may sometimes make you rigid in your requirements. Yet you can be flexible when necessary. It depends on the situation, of course."

Are YOU?

I was recently tagged by Charles. The meme is to list 5 songs that have had an impact on my life.

Hmmmm....that's too thought provoking for me right now-- ;) that could keep me here for hours and hours-- so I'm just going to list some songs and/or CD's I'm currently enjoying listening to. Hopefully, that will be close enough to fulfill my obligations in Blogland as a tagee.

Blackeyed Peas (their latest)
Fergie (her solo)
Savage Garden-- Truly Madly Deeply ("I wanna stand with you on a mountain.")
A homemade one--
it has Destiny's Child (Survivor and Say my name),
Fine Young Cannibals- (She Drives Me Crazy)
Hoobastank (The Reason)

Just because.
