The I <3 Gizmo Post
I did a post the other day lamenting the fact that I'm thoroughly burdened by my dog, Gizmo. Just doing the venting that I did, purged me of the weighted down feeling. I kept feeling guilty afterwards that I could even say such things about my little buddy.
I've looked at him with new eyes and fresh resolve and he and I are bonding. He's in like Flynn.

When you think about it dogs are kind of like children. They can get into everything (read your other post about him). We have two cats, and no dogs because someone here is afraid of them. (mother's husband)
Yes, they are definitely similar to children and not as rewarding. The problem is my maternal instinct is fading.
When you've been a mother since the age of 17, well, by 37 I'm just kind of spent. Especially dealing with poop.
that do is like UNhateable lol... its the eyes i think. or his super hyper attitude.
