I'm glad I got to it in time! I just took the pictures yesterday and it's already dropped way more leaves and has lost alot of it's brilliance in color. You would not BELIEEEEEVE the trees around here right now---even more breathtaking than that tree--just in the last few days everything has reached it's peak. That tree is not very big, about 4 years old, which is why I got up close to take the picture. All over the interstate right now, it looks like a crayon box on either side while driving. GLOWING Neon colors of bright reds, burgandy, gold, bright and pale yellow, and various shades of green and brown mixed in....all in rolling hills and small mountains. I have literally gasped, oooohed and ahhhed--- :)
