FREE 411

A few months ago I read online about 1-800-411-Metro. If you are like me and never seem to have a phone book handy, and cringe when you are paying money for 411 or avoid using it, then you may like this. There is an ad you have to listen to, typically takes just a couple of seconds, and the rest of it is just like dialing regular 411. Actually, the customer service is friendlier. 98% of the time I have been pleased with using it. They connect you directly to any business listing that you ask for, and for a residential listing, they verbally give you the number. It is nationwide. Best of all, it is FREE. It really is. I thought to myself at first, "Wow, I hope too many people don't start using this, because it will somehow quit being free", but there are messages on there asking everyone to spread the word. I guess they will be able to charge more to advertisers if the customer base is larger.
