I am slightly ambidextrous, I write with my left, but I do practically everything else with my right hand--sweep, swing bat, throw ball, play guitar, cut with right handed scissors....etc.
While looking up info, I read that left-handed people are more accident prone, and more likely to die in car accidents than right-handed people. I've also read too, though, that this could be attributed to the fact that we live in a "right-handed" world.
Approximately 10% of the population is left-handed.
My brother and my father are both lefties. I believe my grandmother was, as well. I am a righty, but I'm leftie-friendly...lol.
LOL!
Some of my favorite people! I am slightly ambidextrous, but use my right hand. My Mother said that some of were left handed, but that my Father thaught that evil, and made use learn to use our right. Maybe that why I am dislexic. :P
Creative people are odften left handed. I guess that has to do with how the brain works. Interesting post!

I'm with Stephaine. But, who needs hands for that...;-}
Abbey, thanks!

LOL-um--uhhhh....I've re-typed a comment several times, and at this point, all I can write is "Hey Rickey!" :)
Hey,you can add me to that list!
I was born left-handed,used to do everything with my left hand.My parents thought it was a bad sign and taught me to write and eat with my right hand early on.
BTW,Mahatma Gandhi was not a natural lefty. He taught himself to write well with both hands in order to write more efficiently.
:) Thanks for the info, Anamika, and welcome to the Club.
